BEFORE THE KINGDOMS
Long before castles crowned the mountains or banners flew above stone walls, the continent of Eldros belonged to dragons.
Across volcanic peaks, frozen tundras, endless forests, and roaring seas, colossal dragons ruled the skies. They were not beasts to be conquered, nor servants of mankind. They were ancient, intelligent creatures whose blood carried the oldest magic in existence.
For centuries, humanity and dragons lived separate lives.
Until six dragons chose to change history.

THE FIRST BOND
As war threatened to consume the young kingdoms of Eldros, six extraordinary leaders sought peace instead of conquest.
Rather than claiming dragons through force, they earned something thought impossible.
A bond.
Each founder formed an unbreakable connection with one legendary dragon. That moment forever changed the fate of mankind.
Together they forged an alliance that united the continent and became known as The First Bond.

THE GREAT HOUSES
From the First Bond rose six noble Houses.
Each became guardian of a dragon bloodline, protecting both their dragons and the fragile peace that united Eldros.
Over centuries, each House developed its own customs, traditions, and ideals, shaped by the dragons they rode.
Though different in culture, they remained bound by a single purpose:
To protect the dragons…
…and preserve the balance of Eldros.

THE DRAGON BOND
A dragon cannot be claimed.
It cannot be inherited.
It cannot be bought.
The bond exists only when dragon and rider choose one another.
Once joined, their thoughts, emotions, instincts, and even memories begin to intertwine.
Some spend their entire lives hoping to hear a dragon call their name.
Very few ever do.

ELDROS TODAY
For generations, the peace established by the First Bond has endured.
Yet whispers grow louder.
Ancient prophecies once dismissed as myth are beginning to stir.
Old rivalries are awakening.
Secrets buried for centuries lie waiting beneath forgotten ruins, mountain passes, and abandoned keeps.
The dragons remember.
Whether mankind does…
…remains to be seen.

Every border tells a story of blood; every mountain ridge holds a secret. This is a closer look at a world teetering on the edge of a blade. Trace the territories of the Seven Houses, study the sigils they carry into battle, and prepare to enter a landscape where survival is earned in fire.
The Crownlands
At the heart of Eldros stands House Draven, the royal bloodline entrusted with keeping the Seven Kingdoms united beneath a single crown. Their fertile plains, ancient forests, and winding rivers have made them the wealthiest agricultural power on the continent. While others build strength through conquest or trade, Draven’s greatest weapon has always been stability. Their Crimson Dragons are revered as symbols of leadership, courage, and the enduring flame that binds the kingdoms together.

The Ash Mountains
Forged in fire and stone, House Vaelor has never feared hardship. Their people carve cities into volcanic mountains where master smiths transform iron and dragonfire into the finest weapons and armor in Eldros. Strength is earned, never inherited, and every generation is expected to surpass the last. The Bronze Dragons of Vaelor are relentless creatures whose endurance mirrors the mountain kingdom they call home.

The Northern Reach
Where winter never truly ends, House Eryndor guards the frozen frontier with unwavering discipline. Honor is law, and an oath sworn beneath their banners carries more weight than gold. Their Frost Dragons glide silently above glaciers and pine forests, watching over a people who value integrity above ambition. Few kingdoms are as unyielding—or as impossible to conquer—as the Northern Reach.

The Sapphire Isles
Scattered across hundreds of islands, House Kaelor has always looked toward the horizon rather than the mainland. Their fleets chart distant waters, uncover forgotten trade routes, and bring rare treasures back to Eldros. Adaptable, daring, and endlessly curious, the island kingdom thrives where others would be lost at sea. The Tide Dragons soar above crashing waves, guiding sailors through storms and unexplored oceans alike.

The Emerald Vale
Hidden beneath ancient canopies lies the Emerald Vale, where House Sylvaris has safeguarded knowledge for centuries. Scholars, healers, botanists, and historians gather within their libraries, believing that wisdom is the greatest form of power. Their Verdant Dragons are gentle yet immensely intelligent, sharing an almost mystical bond with the forests they protect. To lose the knowledge of Sylvaris would be to lose the memory of the world itself.

The Storm Cliffs
High above the sea, where lightning dances across black cliffs and relentless winds shape the land, House Ravaryn has mastered the skies. Their people are fearless riders, renowned for swift action and unmatched aerial skill. Warships and dragon riders launch from towering fortresses overlooking the coast, ready to answer any threat before it reaches the mainland. The Storm Dragons embody speed, precision, and the unstoppable force of a gathering tempest.

Each founder bonded with one dragon that became the ancestor of an entire bloodline.
Every dragon living during the events of the series traces its ancestry back to one of these legendary creatures.

For over a thousand years, Eldros has been home to the Great Dragon Houses—ancient kingdoms forged by blood, bound by dragons, and united beneath a single Crown. Vast landscapes, powerful bloodlines, and centuries of uneasy peace have shaped a continent where every kingdom plays a vital role in preserving the balance of the realm.
Six noble houses stand openly among the kingdoms of Eldros, each ruling a sovereign realm alongside its ancestral dragon bloodline. Though their customs, strengths, and ambitions differ, all are sworn to uphold the Great Accord and protect the peace of the continent.
From volcanic mountain fortresses and frozen northern reaches to emerald forests, fertile plains, storm-beaten cliffs, and endless island seas, no two kingdoms are alike. The diversity of Eldros has made it prosperous, resilient, and fiercely independent.
For generations, the kingdoms have lived in relative harmony. But beneath old alliances lie forgotten histories, whispered legends, and truths long buried. As ancient forces begin to awaken, the fate of Eldros will soon rest in the hands of a new generation.
